What’s better than a single LED? Lots of LEDs! This assembled Adafruit 0.56″ 4-Digit 7-Segment Display with I2C Backpack is a compact and bright red display solution with STEMMA QT connectors for easy solderless wiring.
This display uses a built-in driver chip that multiplexes the display and controls the LEDs using constant-current drivers, providing ultra-bright and consistent color output with 1/16 step display dimming via a simple I2C interface.
The backpack includes address-selection jumpers allowing up to eight 7-segment displays or four mini 8×8 matrices on a single I2C bus. The board comes fully assembled with the 4-digit 0.56″ tall red LED display pre-soldered and includes a 4-pin header for connections.
STEMMA QT connectors on both sides are compatible with SparkFun Qwiic I2C connectors, enabling easy daisy-chaining with other accessories and sensors.
