Description
The Pimoroni Pico Plus 2 is a top-tier Pirate-brand RP2350 microcontroller development board featuring 16MB of flash memory, 8MB of PSRAM, USB-C connectivity, Qwiic/STEMMA QT and debug connectors. It serves as an excellent ‘drop in’ upgrade to the classic Pico 2, providing increased power and memory while maintaining compatibility with existing Pico add-ons.
Designed to keep the original Pico footprint, the Pimoroni Pico Plus 2 includes numerous enhancements, such as:
- Powered and programmable via USB-C
- Upgraded 8MB PSRAM
- 16MB of flash storage
- Easy-to-read pin labels for quick connections without soldering
- Qwiic/STEMMA QT connector for attaching I2C sensors and breakouts
- SP/CE connector for SPI/serial devices
- JST-SH debug connector for SWD debugging
- Reset and BOOT buttons (BOOT can be used as a user switch)
- On-board 3.3V regulator with 600mA max output
- User LED indicator wired to GP25
Compatible with Raspberry Pi Pico SDK, Arduino, MicroPython, and CircuitPython, the Pimoroni Pico Plus 2 offers high versatility for various IoT and embedded projects.
