Description

Let your project know its place in the world with this tiny but ultra-sensitive global positioning breakout!

This I2C breakout features a PA1010D GPS receiver module with inbuilt ceramic antenna, allowing extraction of date, time, latitude, longitude, speed, and altitude data from satellites.

It includes a supercapacitor that acts like a short-term backup battery to enable quick satellite lock after power down. An indicator LED flashes whenever the module has a satellite fix.

Ideal for projects like weather stations or modular GPS navigation systems, this breakout is compatible with Raspberry Pi, Arduino, and CircuitPython.
