Description

The Adafruit TMP235 is an analog temperature sensor with a convenient 3-pin JST STEMMA connector, ideal for STEMMA-compatible microcontroller projects. Unlike digital I2C sensors, the TMP235 outputs an analog voltage that corresponds linearly to the temperature, providing a simple and effective way to measure temperature through any microcontroller’s analog input pin.

This sensor outputs 0V at -50°C and 1.75V at 125°C, and temperatures can be calculated using the formula: Temp °C = 100 * (voltage in V) – 50. The board is ready to plug into any 3-pin JST PH cable (sold separately) for easy integration.

Key Features:

  • Analog temperature sensor with STEMMA 3-pin JST connector for plug-and-play compatibility.
  • Simple usage with microcontrollers having an analog input; no libraries required.
  • Voltage output: 0V at -50°C, 1.75V at 125°C.
  • Small breakout board size: 25.5mm x 17.7mm x 7.2mm.
  • Weight: 2.0 grams.
  • Compatible with 3.3V to 5V systems.
  • RoHS compliant.

Note: STEMMA JST PH 3-pin cable is not included but available separately.
