Description
Connect your Arduino to the Internet with the FCC-certified Adafruit ATWINC1500 WiFi Breakout, featuring an 802.11bgn-capable WiFi module with SSL support and rock-solid performance. This breakout uses SPI interface, requiring about 6 wires for connection, supporting fast 12MHz clock speed for reliable and speedy packet streaming.
The module supports 802.11b, g, or n networks and WEP, WPA, WPA2 encryption. It also features Soft AP mode for ad-hoc network creation and TLS 1.2 firmware support for secure client connections.
This breakout includes level shifting on input pins for compatibility with 3V or 5V logic, a 3.3V regulator handling 300mA spikes, and 3 control LEDs accessible via SPI or Arduino library. Note: This version does not include an onboard antenna; a uFL connector antenna such as the 2.4GHz Mini Flexible WiFi Antenna (sold separately) is required.
