Connect one of Adafruit’s 5V 2Amp or 5V 10Amp adapters to devices expecting a USB connection with this USB A female jack to 5.5mm OD/2.1mm ID barrel jack adapter cable with center positive polarity.
This simple adapter cable does not include resistors or data line connections, so it won’t charge devices like iPhones or iPads that require resistance on the D+ and D- lines. It is ideal for powering Arduinos, BeagleBones, Raspberry Pi, and most other USB-powered gadgets.
