TO-220 Clip-On Heat Sink for Transistors and Regulators

Description

Get the most out of your regulators, transistors, and other TO-220 packaged chips by clipping on this easy-to-use heat sink. This basic ~25°C/W heatsink allows you to dissipate about 3 Watts of power through a TO-220 package (assuming an ambient temperature of 25°C and max die temperature of 85°C) without the need for screws or thermal paste.

Most TO-220 devices can dissipate about 2 Watts without a heatsink, so using this clip-on heatsink significantly improves thermal performance, ensuring stable operation even with higher power loads.
