Crankcase vapors carry oil through your intake system, which can accumulate in intake tubes and manifolds, and dilute fuel, reducing octane—especially in forced induction engines with higher crankcase pressure. This oil separator filters out those vapors, capturing oil before it reaches your intake.
The fine mesh filter allows heavier oil droplets to fall back into the tank, preventing oil from entering your intake system. The 3oz capacity tank holds collected oil and should be checked every 1,000 miles. Most vehicles can go 2,500 to 3,500 miles before needing to drain, depending on driving conditions
