Description

The solar panel is epoxied into a round disc 55mm diameter (about 2.2 inches), making it rugged and visually appealing. A sticky foam pin back is included for easy attachment to backpacks, jackets, or sashes.
The panel is a fully functional solar panel with 10 slivers of solar cell inside, rated for 5V output in bright sunlight, and approximately 40mA current, less in shade or cloudy conditions. It is suitable for powering small, low power projects such as microcontrollers or LEDs.
The epoxy coating renders the panel rugged and waterproof on the front. The back features solder points; to make the panel fully waterproof, apply waterproof epoxy over the solder points after attaching wires.
