Description

The Adafruit LED Arcade Button 1×4 STEMMA QT I2C Breakout is a 3″ x 0.8″ PCB equipped with 8 JST XH sockets that connect to arcade buttons with built-in LED illuminators. Designed to simplify integration, each pair of sockets supports one arcade button, allowing easy connection with quick connect cables or STEMMA QT (Qwiic) connectors for instant I2C communication.

This breakout board features a pre-programmed microcontroller running Adafruit’s seesaw firmware, enabling button press detection and LED PWM control via I2C. Multiple boards can be chained together to support up to 16 boards on a single I2C bus by adjusting the address jumpers.

The board includes a boost converter that supplies 5V power for LED illumination, ensuring brightness even when powered by 3.3V microcontrollers. It offers versatile mounting options including breadboard compatibility with breakout pads on both sides.

Note: This product includes one assembled and programmed PCB only. LED arcade buttons and JST XH quick connect cables are sold separately.
