If contact is present, the studs must be trimmed to allow proper clearance, as failure to do so can result in unsafe installation and potential wheel separation. Always torque all studs to factory specifications, and we recommend checking the spacer-to-vehicle nut torque again after a short test drive to confirm a secure fit.
