This spacer adds volume to your intake plenum, aiding in cylinder filling at lower RPMs, smoothing out throttle response, building boost sooner, and lengthening the effective wave pulse of the intake charge.
The spacer also includes a 1/8″ NPT port that can be used for various purposes. It ships with a plug in the port for those who prefer not to use it.
