Description

The ADXL345 from Analog Devices is a versatile triple-axis accelerometer breakout board with digital I2C and SPI interfaces. It supports selectable sensitivity ranges of ±2g, ±4g, ±8g, and ±16g, allowing high resolution for slow movement detection or high speed tracking as needed.

This breakout includes an onboard 3.3V regulator and logic-level shifting, making it compatible with 3V and 5V microcontrollers like Arduino and Raspberry Pi. The board features STEMMA QT / Qwiic connectors enabling plug-and-play use without soldering.

  • Triple-axis measurements (X, Y, Z)
  • Digital I2C and SPI interfaces
  • Selectable sensitivity: ±2g / ±4g / ±8g / ±16g
  • On-board 3.3V regulator and logic level shifting
  • STEMMA QT / Qwiic compatible connectors for easy connection
  • Includes 0.1″ standard header for breadboard or perfboard use
  • Four 2.5mm mounting holes for secure attachment

Compatible libraries are available for Arduino and CircuitPython for easy integration. The product includes a fully tested breakout board and headers for soldering. Detailed tutorials and technical files like datasheets and EagleCAD PCB files are available online.

Note: The JST connector may be off-white or black. The board uses I2C 7-bit address 0x53. The regulator may vary due to parts availability but supports at least 100mA.
