ST takes flight in this Feather board. The new STM32F405 Feather runs CircuitPython at a blazing 168MHz – our fastest CircuitPython board ever! It features a STEMMA QT / Qwiic port for easy plug-and-play I2C sensor connectivity.
- STM32F405 Cortex M4 with FPU and 1MB Flash, 168MHz speed
- 192KB RAM total (128 KB general usage + 64 KB program-only/cache RAM)
- 3.3V logic with almost all pins 5V compliant
- USB C power and data (first USB C Feather!)
- LiPo connector and charger
- SD socket on bottom connected to SDIO port
- 2 MB SPI Flash chip
- Built-in NeoPixel indicator
- I2C, UART, GPIO, ADCs, DACs
- Qwiic/STEMMA-QT connector for fast I2C connectivity
- Uses built-in USB DFU bootloader; no UF2 bootloader
Supports CircuitPython, MicroPython, and Arduino IDE (with some caveats). CircuitPython support is robust with many interfaces supported. Arduino support through STM32duino requires manual reset due to no auto-reset bootloader. MicroPython support is solid but without Adafruit sensor libraries.
This exceptionally fast Feather board is the first STM32 Feather and is compatible with various FeatherWings except for RFM69/RFM9x libraries.
