Description
Sending data over long distances is like magic, and now you can be a magician with this range of powerful and easy-to-use radio modules. The Adafruit RFM69HCW Transceiver Radio Breakout operates at 868 or 915 MHz, making it ideal for long-range communication over lower license-free frequencies. Unlike WiFi or Bluetooth, these radios allow for simple packet-based communication without pairing or connections.
This 900 MHz radio version can be used for either 868MHz or 915MHz transmission/reception, with frequency determined by software. It uses the SX1231 chip with SPI interface and offers +13 to +20 dBm power output, suitable for ranges up to approximately 500 meters in line of sight conditions, potentially reaching up to 5 km with directional antennas.
