The Adafruit PiRTC is the best battery-backed real time clock (RTC) designed for Raspberry Pi projects to keep accurate time even if power is lost. It is perfect for applications such as data-logging, clock-building, NTP servers, time-stamping, timers, and alarms.
Equipped with a genuine DS3231 RTC chip, it offers extreme accuracy with temperature compensation to minimize drift. The RTC chip includes an integrated crystal and temperature sensor to ensure precise timekeeping.

- Fully assembled & tested PCB that plugs directly into your Raspberry Pi’s GPIO pins with no soldering required.
- Five years or more of battery-backed timekeeping (battery not included).
