Description
The Adafruit PCM5102 I2S DAC is a high-quality digital audio to analog converter that delivers clean, excellent stereo audio with a signal-to-noise ratio of 112dB. It requires no MCLK or I2C configuration, simply supply I2S digital audio signals and power it with 3-5VDC.
This breakout board supports 16, 24, or 32-bit audio widths and auto-generates the master clock internally. It features selectable digital filter latency and performance, mute and filtering functions, and de-emphasis support for 44.1kHz audio. The line-level output is provided via a 3.5mm jack and on breakout pads, intended for loads of 1 kOhm or higher. The board cannot drive headphones directly.
