Description
The Adafruit NeoKey 1×4 QT I2C Breakout offers four mechanical key switches that can glow in any color of the rainbow, perfect for custom macropads and projects requiring multiple mechanical keys.
This compact 3″ x 0.8″ PCB fits four Cherry MX or compatible switches on Kailh sockets, allowing easy installation without soldering the switches directly (hot glue or epoxy recommended for stability). Each key comes with a reverse-mount NeoPixel LED for vibrant lighting effects.
The board connects via a STEMMA QT (Qwiic) connector for instant I2C integration with microcontrollers. It is pre-programmed with seesaw firmware for seamless NeoPixel and button press control over I2C. Multiple boards can be chained on a single I2C bus, supporting up to 16 units.
Note: Each order includes one assembled and programmed PCB only; switches, keycaps, and microcontroller are not included. Suitable for use with any MX-compatible switch such as Kailh, Gateron, etc.
