Description

The MCP9808 digital temperature sensor is one of the most accurate and precise temperature sensors available, offering typical accuracy of ±0.25°C over a range of -40°C to +125°C, and a resolution of 0.0625°C. Designed to work seamlessly with any microcontroller via standard I2C, it supports up to 8 devices on a single I2C bus with adjustable address pins.

This breakout board includes the MCP9808 sensor mounted on a PCB with supporting circuitry, including pull-up resistors and capacitors. It features the STEMMA QT connectors, compatible with SparkFun Qwiic connectors, allowing solderless and chainable connections. The device operates over a 2.7V to 5.5V power and logic voltage range, consuming 200 μA typical operating current.

The breakout board measures 25.4mm x 17.6mm x 4.6mm, weighs 1.6g, and comes with a small piece of header you can solder on to use it with a solderless breadboard. It is RoHS compliant.
