A button is a button, and a switch is a switch, but these translucent arcade buttons are in a class of their own, particularly because they have LEDs built right in! Illuminate your arcade projects with these 30mm diameter translucent yellow buttons that feature a smooth pressing action with a tactile feel.
These buttons are designed to fit into a 30mm diameter hole and can be mounted on materials up to approximately 15mm thick. They screw in place and will cover up imperfect mounting holes. A tiny micro-switch with gold-plated contacts is pre-installed for reliable switching.
Each button contains two surface mount LEDs with built-in resistors connected in series, consuming 5mA at 5V. Note that the yellow and red LED buttons require a 5V supply or higher and cannot run at 3.3V.
The translucent yellow cap has a crystal glossy finish that looks great illuminated or unlit. Additional contacts allow for easy powering and controlling of the LEDs.
