If you need to add a panel-mount connection for DC power, but don’t want to cut a custom hole, this Round Panel Mount 5.5mm/2.1mm DC Barrel Jack Extension Cable is the easiest and fastest way to panel-mount your project.
The outer flange diameter is 30mm, with a threaded diameter of 23mm, allowing you to drill a standard 1″ hole in wood, plastic, or metal using a regular hole-saw or bit. Simply unscrew the plastic nut, insert the plug, and re-attach. This jack accommodates panels up to 16mm (0.625″) thick or as thin as a few millimeters, ideal for project enclosures.
This connector features a solid body and a forgiving plastic lip to hide drill imperfections. The cable length is approximately 30cm (11.8 inches).
