Keep your microcontroller ticking with a 16.000 MHz timing crystal, packaged in an HC49/US ‘short style’ standard breadboard-friendly form. This crystal includes two 20pF capacitors for your convenience.

Usage: Connect the two crystal pins to XTAL-in and XTAL-out on your circuit (pins are symmetric). Connect one capacitor from each crystal pin to ground. Verify your microcontroller datasheet for any additional components like a 1 Megaohm resistor.
