16-Pin IDC Breakout Board – 2×8 Pin Header Adapter

Description

The 2×8 (16 pin – 0.1″ spaced) IDC Breadboard Helper is designed to work with any 16-pin IDC cable. It consists of two parts: a ‘pin-through’ socket and a male header. The socket fits across the center of a breadboard or Perma-Proto, and the header plugs into the top of the socket. This setup simplifies using IDC cables with breadboards, which can be challenging.

The helper works best when soldered in place. While it can be used on solderless breadboards, some breadboards may not accommodate the shorter pins well.

What’s included: Each purchase includes one socket and one header. Breadboard, Perma-Proto, and IDC cable are not included.
