This is the Red Adafruit 0.54″ Dual Alphanumeric Display w/ FeatherWing Combo Pack! It features a bright alphanumeric display that shows letters and numbers in a beautiful red hue, designed for viewing from distances up to 23 feet (7 meters) away. Each digit set has 14 segments on a dark background.

This combo pack includes two alphanumeric displays and a FeatherWing driver board, perfect for making a clock or displaying four-letter words.

Works with any and all Feathers!

14-Segment LED matrices are multiplexed and typically require 18 pins to control, but the included FeatherWing driver board (based on the HT16K33 chip) handles multiplexing and communicates via I2C, drastically reducing wiring and pin usage.
